A Madison Square Park restaurant creation by chef, John Doherty


Client Brief :

Black Barn is an American restaurant serving local, artisanal food in the comfort of a modern barn setting. Opened in September 2015 overlooking Madison Square Park, the restaurant is the creation of chef John Doherty, former executive chef of New York's Waldorf Astoria, and designer Mark Zeff. Black Barn features four distinct private dining rooms including a wine cellar, with full dining capacity of 300 guests for corporate, social and wedding events.

The chef’s table :

After 23 years as Executive Chef at the Waldorf Astoria, John Doherty states; “The Chef’s Table gives me the chance to not only cook from my heart but to interact with my guests in a more intimate setting. I wish I could do it every night.”

PROJECT SCOPE :

To capture the energy and essence on film of a dining experience at Black Barn’s The Chef’s Table with chef, John Doherty, in less than 60 seconds.
